Which mobile networks can a proxy in South Korea use?

South Korea has 3 main mobile networks in the CellMast country data: SK Telecom, KT, LG U+. A port in South Korea runs on one of them. Before you pay, the checkout lists the carriers in stock; after the purchase, the client area shows the network and the current IP of each port.

Each network announces its own IP ranges under its own ASN, so a website can tell which carrier a visitor uses. Pick the network your users are on when the carrier matters to your test.

ASN holders checked in public routing data (RIPEstat, ipinfo or PeeringDB) in October 2026. An ASN can carry fixed and mobile traffic; check a port's own IP before relying on it.

SK Telecom reported 18.0 million 5G handset subscribers in the second quarter of 2026. The national total from the ministry was not readable at the time of our check.

Is there 5G in South Korea?

South Korea's three operators switched on 5G late on 3 April 2019, among the first commercial 5G launches in the world.

A CellMast port uses 5G only where its carrier offers 5G at the modem's location; elsewhere it runs on 4G LTE. The client area shows the network type of each port. For when 5G is worth it, see 4G vs 5G proxies.

How common is IPv6 on South Korean mobile networks?

Very common on SK Telecom: APNIC Labs measured about 94% of users on its mobile network (AS9644) as IPv6-capable in October 2026.

Where a network still gives IPv4 addresses, subscribers share them through carrier-grade NAT; see the CGNAT guide. Whether a port also gets an IPv6 address depends on the carrier and the modem; check it with an IPv6 test page.

How much does a South Korea mobile proxy cost?

South Korea belongs to the East Asia & Oceania price zone, as of October 2026. A dedicated port is priced for 1, 7 or 30 days, with unlimited data; the rotating pool is billed per GB from $1.50/GB. Both are paid from a crypto balance topped up from $25. Not sure which you need? Compare dedicated ports and the rotating pool.

# dedicated port (credentials of the port)
curl -x http://PORT_USER:[email protected]:7777 https://api.ipify.org

# rotating pool: a new {{name}} IP on each connection

# rotating pool: same IP for 10 minutes
curl -x http://USERNAME-country-{{code|lower}}-session-a1-ttl-10:[email protected]:7777 https://api.ipify.org

For South Korea, the country code is kr. Rotate a dedicated port with its link, https://cellmast.com/api/v1/mobile/{port}/rotate?key=API_KEY, where {port} is the port ID shown in the client area (copy the ready-made link from there); see the rotation API.

South Korea mobile proxy: questions

How much is a South Korea mobile proxy per month?

A dedicated port in South Korea costs $89.25 for 30 days at CellMast, as of October 2026, with unlimited data. Shorter rentals cost $5.93 for one day and $29 for seven days. South Korea is in the East Asia & Oceania price zone. Rotating mobile data starts at $1.50/GB.

Can I choose the carrier in South Korea?

Yes, subject to stock per carrier. If the network you want has no port in stock, pick another; support can later move your port to another network in South Korea when one is in stock, keeping the time left on the rental.

Will websites see an IP from South Korea?

Yes. Traffic leaves through a modem on a carrier network in South Korea, so websites see an IP from that carrier's ranges and locate it in South Korea. IP databases place mobile addresses near the carrier's gateway, which may be a region or a large city rather than the modem's exact town.

Do I need a local SIM card, an address or ID?

No. The SIM stays in CellMast's modem, and CellMast does not ask for ID, a selfie or documents to open an account or buy a plan. Login with an account number; email is optional. You pay in BTC, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, LTC, in US dollars, from a $25 top-up.

What happens if no port in South Korea can be delivered?

Within 72 hours of purchase, a rotating-mobile plan is credited back to your balance if you used less than 20% of its traffic and no more than 1 GB; a plan that does not work, and that support cannot fix within 24 hours, is credited back in full. Dedicated ports: within 24 hours of delivery (2 hours for a 1-day port), the port is credited back to your balance in full if it does not work and we cannot fix or replace it, or if it has carried less than 500 MB. A port we cannot deliver within 24 hours is credited back in full. If a port stops working later and support cannot fix it within 24 hours, the lost days are credited back. Top-ups are not paid back, except where the law requires it. Support answers at [email protected]. Email replies within 12 hours, 7 days a week.
