Use case · ad checks, redirects, mobile SERPs
Mobile campaigns are targeted by country, carrier and connection type. To check what was actually served, you need to look from the same kind of connection.
Quick answer
How do I verify mobile ads as users in another country see them?
Load the ad, its click-through chain and the landing page through a mobile proxy in the target country, with a mobile user agent. Use the CellMast rotating mobile pool, from $1.50/GB, to sample many carrier IPs, or a dedicated 4G/5G port, from $2.63/day, to check one carrier at length. No KYC — no ID, no selfie, no documents. Pay in crypto.
| What you can check | Ad served, creative, redirect chain, landing page, local price and language |
|---|---|
| Broad sampling | Rotating pool: new IP per request, from $1.50/GB |
| Carrier-specific checks | Dedicated port on one carrier, unlimited data |
| Sticky sessions | Up to 30 minutes (ttl); the IP can change earlier |
| Protocols | HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) and SOCKS5 |
| Mobile search | Google indexes the mobile version of pages first (mobile-first indexing, complete since October 2023) |
Ad platforms let advertisers target by connection type, carrier and country. A check from an office broadband line or a datacenter IP may not match those rules, so it can show a different ad, no ad, or a generic landing page.
Redirect chains also vary: some send mobile carrier users to an app store, others to a mobile page, and some to an unexpected destination. Following the chain from a carrier IP shows what a phone user really reached.
Many teams use both: the pool for daily sampling, a port to reproduce a specific report.
Keep one sticky IP for the whole chain, follow redirects with GET and print every hop. Send a mobile user agent so the server treats the request as a phone.

Google moved to mobile-first indexing, completed in October 2023, so mobile results are the primary view of a page. A carrier IP in the right country, with a mobile user agent, shows the local mobile results page. Keep the rate low and follow the search engine's terms; automated querying at scale is often restricted.
Little, unless you load video. A landing page with its images is often 1 to 5 MB, and a headers-only redirect check is a few kilobytes. At $1.50/GB on the 10 GB plan, thousands of page checks cost a few dollars. Video ads are better checked on a dedicated port, where data is unlimited.

On a dedicated port, yes: you choose the country and, subject to stock, the carrier, for example T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon in the US. The rotating pool is targeted by country, so the carrier varies between requests.
They may, if your check loads the ad the way a browser does. Use headers-only requests to follow redirects, test with your own campaigns where you can, and keep volumes low. Do not use proxies to generate fake impressions or clicks; that is ad fraud and is banned by the Acceptable Use Policy.
CellMast sells ports by country in eight price zones, and the rotating pool is targeted by country. The locations page lists 25 countries with their own page; others can be ordered, subject to stock.
