The same four values work everywhere: host, port, username, password. This guide shows where to type them on each system, and how to check that the carrier IP is the one you see.

**Quick answer — How do I set up a mobile proxy?**

Enter the host and port shown for your port in the client area (normally `gw.cellmast.com`, port 7777 for HTTP in browsers, phones and most tools, or 7778 for SOCKS5 in tools that send a SOCKS password, such as curl or Python), plus the port's username and password. Then open an IP-check page: it should show your carrier's address. **CellMast** dedicated 4G/5G ports cost from $2.63/day, with no KYC and payment in crypto.

## The four values you need

| Attribute | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Host | `gw.cellmast.com` |
| Port | 7777 (HTTP/HTTPS) or 7778 (SOCKS5) |
| Username | Shown for each port in the client area (pool users: `USERNAME-country-{cc}`) |
| Password | Shown in the client area; can be reset at any time |
| Connection string | `gw.cellmast.com:7777:USERNAME:PASSWORD` |
| Check page | `https://api.ipify.org` or any IP lookup site |

## How do I set a mobile proxy on Android?

Android applies a proxy per Wi-Fi network. Its proxy settings have no username or password fields: Chrome asks for them when a page loads, but most other apps cannot answer a proxy login and fail. For app testing, use the emulator command in the [app testing guide](https://cellmast.com/use-cases/mobile-app-testing/) or a proxy client app that stores the login.

### Android 12 and later

1. **Open the Wi-Fi network** — Settings → Network & internet → Internet, then tap the gear next to the Wi-Fi network you use.
2. **Edit the proxy** — Tap the pencil (Edit) icon, open Advanced options, set Proxy to Manual.
3. **Enter host and port** — Hostname gw.cellmast.com, port 7777. Save.
4. **Log in and check** — Open Chrome: it asks for the username and password once. Visit an IP-check page to see the carrier IP.

Menu names differ slightly between phone makers. The Android Wi-Fi proxy is HTTP only; for SOCKS5 or for apps that ignore the system proxy, use a proxy client app from the Play Store.

## How do I set a mobile proxy on an iPhone or iPad?

iOS also sets the proxy per Wi-Fi network, for HTTP and HTTPS traffic.

### iOS 17 and later (including iOS 26)

1. **Open the network** — Settings → Wi-Fi, then tap the ⓘ next to the connected network.
2. **Configure the proxy** — Scroll to HTTP Proxy → Configure Proxy → Manual.
3. **Fill in the four values** — Server gw.cellmast.com, Port 7777, turn on Authentication, enter username and password. Tap Save.
4. **Check** — Open Safari and load an IP-check page.

When you leave that Wi-Fi network, the proxy no longer applies. iOS has no built-in SOCKS5 setting for Wi-Fi.

## How do I set a mobile proxy on Windows 11?

Windows has a system-wide proxy setting used by Edge, Chrome and many apps.

### Windows 11

1. **Open proxy settings** — Settings → Network & internet → Proxy.
2. **Set up manually** — Next to "Use a proxy server", select Set up. Turn the switch on, enter gw.cellmast.com and port 7777. Save.
3. **Authenticate** — The first page you open asks for the username and password.
4. **Check** — Load an IP-check page in Edge or Chrome.

## How do I set a mobile proxy on macOS?

In System Settings → Network, select your active connection, then Details → Proxies. Turn on **Web proxy (HTTP)** and **Secure web proxy (HTTPS)**, enter `gw.cellmast.com` and port 7777 for both, tick "Proxy server requires password", enter the username and password, and click OK. Safari and Chrome then use the port. Keep the HTTP port 7777 for browsers: Chrome cannot log in to a SOCKS5 proxy, so use 7778 only in tools that support SOCKS5 with a password (curl, Python).

## How do I use a mobile proxy in one browser only?

Firefox keeps its own proxy settings, so you can send only Firefox through the carrier: Settings → General → Network Settings → Settings… → Manual proxy configuration. Enter the host and port 7777 in HTTP Proxy and tick "Also use this proxy for HTTPS". Firefox asks for the username and password on the first request. Firefox's SOCKS v5 setting cannot send a username and password, so use the HTTP port in browsers.

Social media management tools and browser automation frameworks usually have a proxy field: paste the connection string `gw.cellmast.com:7777:USERNAME:PASSWORD`.

## How do I test the port from a command line?

One command shows whether the credentials work and which IP the carrier gave you.

*curl on Windows, macOS or Linux*

```bash
# HTTP
curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@gw.cellmast.com:7777 https://api.ipify.org
# SOCKS5 (DNS resolved by the proxy)
curl --socks5-hostname USERNAME:PASSWORD@gw.cellmast.com:7778 https://api.ipify.org
```

## Why does the IP-check page still show my own address?

- The app or browser ignores the system proxy: set the proxy inside the app, or use Firefox.
- You are on mobile data, not on the Wi-Fi network where you set the proxy (Android and iOS).
- A VPN on the device takes over all traffic: turn it off while testing.
- The page was cached: reload with the cache cleared.
- Wrong port: 7777 is HTTP, 7778 is SOCKS5. Mixing them fails.

## Setup: questions

### Can I use one mobile port on several devices?

Yes. Use your port from several of your own devices and tools at the same time; bandwidth is shared between them. Reselling or sharing access with third parties is not allowed. They all share the same carrier IP, so rotating it changes the address for every device.

### Can I whitelist my IP instead of using a password?

Yes. Dedicated ports accept Username/password or IP allowlist: add up to 10 IPs to the allowlist in the client area, and tools that cannot send a password then work from those IPs. Username and password keep working from any network.

### Does the phone need a SIM card to use a mobile proxy?

No. The SIM is in CellMast's modem, not in your phone. Your device only needs an internet connection, Wi-Fi or any other, and the proxy settings. Websites then see the modem's carrier IP.

### Which port should I use, 7777 or 7778?

Use 7777 for browsers, phones and most tools, which speak HTTP proxy. Use 7778 for command-line clients and code that send a SOCKS5 password (curl, Python), for non-web TCP traffic, or when you want DNS resolved on the proxy side; browsers cannot log in to a SOCKS5 proxy. Both reach the same modem and the same carrier IP.

**Get your host, port and login** Rent a dedicated 4G/5G port from $2.63/day; credentials appear in the client area after the purchase. [See pricing](https://cellmast.com/pricing/) · [Python guide](https://cellmast.com/guides/python-mobile-proxy/)
